Louise Maryon

With both parents being involved with horses, it could have gone one of two ways for Louise . . . . . . .
She first sat on a horse at six weeks of age and has never looked back.

As a child Louise was a regular competitor in lead rein and first ridden classes as well as being the crash test pilot on many other childrens ponies!

Louise's first solo experience of breaking a pony came aged 12 when she successfully backed & rode away a Welsh Section B called Pierro who went on to be a prolific winner under saddle, Pierro proved to be the first of many youngsters that Louise started off.

As a teenager she gained experience show jumping & eventing at unaffiliated level, later working as both a polo & film groom before starting her own arabian stud aged 21. To view the stud website please visit www.ffosfarmarabians.com

Since the stud was formed Louise has bred & subsequently broken many youngsters,
some of which have been sold on to ridden homes whilst others have been retained for showing at the stud.

She became an Arab Horse Society panel judge in 2004 and from April - October can be seen on the showing circuit around the country either showing or judging virtually every weekend!

The winter months are the time for breaking in & schooling on the following seasons ridden prospects
and a chance to keep the ridden show team fresh by competing in local x-country events & fun rides.
